Purpose |
|
The McNeil Maverick Baseball Club
is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization, and as such, donations
made to McNeil Maverick Baseball Club are a tax deductible

Status
The purpose of
this organization shall be to help maintain, improve or expand
the baseball program and facilities of the McNeil High School.
This will be done to provide an enhanced baseball experience for
those students that participate in the School's program.
- Help
maintain, improve or expend the McNeil Maverick baseball
program and baseball facilities of the McNeil High School.

Support the McNeil Maverick baseball coaching staff.

Elevate the Maverick baseball team's and player's image in
the eyes of the school, community and themselves.

Encourage school, parent and community participation in the
organization.

Support the baseball program, win or lose, through personal
involvement.
Note:
The purpose will be accomplished by working with the McNeil High
School baseball coaching staff and other McNeil and RRISD
officials as necessary. At no time will it be our policy
to interfere with the policies, methods, eligibility
requirements, and administration of the McNeil Baseball program.

Committees |
Membership of the McNeil Maverick Baseball Club
shall be open to parents, teachers, and staff of McNeil High
School and persons or groups interested in the objectives of the
organization. Membership
fees is $20
and meetings will
be once month; time and location to be determined.
Committees will arrange their own meeting times and dates.

Maverick Stadium/Field Facility Improvement |
Committee Chair:
Bill Momsen
Committee Purpose: Determine the list of upgrades and
projects in conjunction with the McNeil baseball staff, needed
for Maverick Stadium/Field. Work with other committees and
volunteers to prioritize and accomplish items on the list.

Fundraising |
Committee Chair:
Lance Wood
Committee Purpose: Direct the baseball
fundraisers; Coordinate fundraising activities.

Photography |
Committee Chair:
Randy Brauckman
Committee Purpose: Responsible for taking pictures of all
McNeil Maverick Baseball Teams. This includes pre-season
pictures for the Baseball Program (including the Diamondettes)
and individual player pictures for the web site. Also
provide photos for the end-of-season banquet video.

Pre-season Banquet/Peacock Scholarship |
Committee Chair:
Open
Committee Purpose: Plan the McNeil Mavericks' pre-season
baseball banquet and work with the Peacock Memorial Scholarship
foundation to boost donations to the scholarship.

Committee Chair:

Committee Purpose: Plan the McNeil Mavericks' post-season
baseball banquet and create the annual End-of-Season Video.

Media Guide/Program |
Committee Chair:
Randy Baker
Committee Purpose: Create the McNeil Maverick's Baseball
Program. This includes soliciting businesses for ads,
creating the layout of the program and the sales of the program.

Merchandise |
Committee Chair:

Committee Purpose: Determine Maverick Baseball
merchandise order prior to the start of the season and promote
the sales of the merchandise.

Alumni Involvement |
Committee Chair: Open
Committee Purpose: Create a list of McNeil Maverick
Baseball alumni who have continued their baseball careers in
college and/or professional baseball and recognize them.

Game Day Volunteers |
Committee Chair:
Open
Committee Purpose: Coordinate game day volunteers for all
teams. This includes providing Official Scorekeepers, Game
Announcers and Ticket Takers for all home games. Work on providing ticket takers at all
the home games at Maverick Stadium. Work on providing
season tickets good for all home regular season games.

Committee Purpose: Help coordinate the Diamondettes with
the Diamondettes' adviser.

Committee Purpose: Help coordinate the Spring Baseball
Bonanza.

purchasing uniforms and maintaining the summer budget. |

Committee Purpose: Coordinate webcasting of the baseball
games. This includes creating a budget and scheduling the
games to be webcasted.
